FELLOWSHIP IN LAPAROSCOPY & HYSTEROSCOPY

Overview:
laparoscopy and hysteroscopy provides specialized training in minimally invasive gynecological surgical techniques. These procedures are essential for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and offer numerous advantages over traditional open surgeries.

Laparoscopy involves making small incisions in the abdominal wall and using a laparoscope (a camera-equipped tube) to visualize and access the pelvic and abdominal organs. This technique is valuable for conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, tubal ligation, ectopic pregnancies, adhesions, pelvic inflammatory disease, fibroids, and various surgeries, including hysterectomy.

Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure performed through the vaginal canal and cervix using a hysteroscope. It allows for direct visualization and treatment of the inside of the uterus. Hysteroscopy is commonly used to address issues related to abnormal uterine bleeding, as well as for diagnosing and managing uterine conditions.
