Objective:
This specialized training program in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism is aimed at providing advanced training and experience to enable trainees to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and expertise in this field. The program is tailored to meet the needs of trainees who plan to focus primarily on clinical practice in endocrinology, those aspiring to become clinician-educators, and those interested in pursuing careers in medical and/or primary endocrine research. It recognizes that some trainees may pursue multiple career paths mentioned above. The training environment and educational research opportunities provided to trainees will equip them to become competent clinicians, educators, and researchers.
