The Fellowship in Clinical Genetics is a specialized program aimed at providing advanced training in the field of clinical genetics. The objective of this fellowship is to equip medical professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose, manage, and counsel patients with genetic disorders.
During the fellowship, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of various genetic disorders, including inherited conditions, chromosomal abnormalities, and genetic syndromes. They will learn to perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, conduct genetic testing, and interpret genetic test results. The fellowship also focuses on developing expertise in genetic counseling, enabling fellows to effectively communicate genetic information to patients and their families, providing support and guidance throughout the diagnostic and management process.
