COURSE MODULES

  1. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation 
    Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a specialized program designed for healthcare professionals, particularly emergency medicine physicians, anesthesiologists, and critical care specialists, seeking advanced training in the assessment and management of cardiac and respiratory emergencies. This fellowship focuses on the principles and practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS). Participants will gain expertise in performing high-quality CPR, utilizing defibrillation, and managing a variety of life-threatening situations.
  2. Neuromuscular disease and respiratory failure 
    Neuromuscular Disease and Respiratory Failure is a specialized program designed for healthcare professionals, particularly neurologists, pulmonologists, and critical care specialists, seeking advanced training in the diagnosis and management of patients with neuromuscular diseases that can lead to respiratory failure. This fellowship focuses on understanding the complex relationship between neuromuscular disorders, respiratory function, and the challenges these conditions pose to patients’ breathing and overall well-being. Participants will gain expertise in assessing and managing patients with conditions such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), muscular dystrophy, and myasthenia gravis.
  3. Hypertensive emergencies
    The Fellowship in Hypertensive Emergencies is a specialized program designed for healthcare professionals, particularly emergency medicine physicians, critical care specialists, and nephrologists, seeking advanced training in the assessment and management of acute and severe hypertension. This fellowship focuses on the critical evaluation and treatment of patients experiencing hypertensive emergencies, which can lead to organ damage and life-threatening complications. Participants will gain expertise in the rapid diagnosis and management of conditions like hypertensive encephalopathy, hypertensive crisis, and other acute hypertensive states.
  4. Head and spinal cord injury 
    Head and Spinal Cord Injury is a specialized program designed for healthcare professionals, particularly neurosurgeons, trauma surgeons, and critical care specialists, seeking advanced training in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of injuries to the head and spinal cord. This fellowship focuses on the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients who have sustained head injuries, including traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), and spinal cord injuries. Participants will gain expertise in advanced imaging techniques, surgical interventions, and critical care management.
  5. Nosocomial infections
    Nosocomial Infections is a specialized program designed for healthcare professionals, particularly infectious disease specialists, hospital epidemiologists, and critical care practitioners, seeking advanced training in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of infections acquired in healthcare settings. This fellowship focuses on understanding the complex dynamics of nosocomial or healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), including those caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.
