- Recognize and assess risk factors associated with the development of coronary artery disease (CAD) and provide appropriate recommendations for primary prevention measures.
- Acquire knowledge on different testing options and understand the significance of screening studies for CAD, applying this information to effectively manage patients at risk for CAD.
- Evaluate and manage patients presenting with essential hypertension, malignant hypertension, and secondary hypertension.
- Deliver primary care and ensure appropriate follow-up for patients with various cardiovascular diseases.
- Identify congenital cardiac diseases in children and implement suitable management strategies.
- Determine the appropriate timing for referring patients to a cardiologist or other specialists based on the complexity and severity of their cardiovascular condition.
